We will honor Him with praise,
As the earth and world take shape.

For thousands of years to come,
Like grass sprouting at the break of dawn.

மாலை நேரம் உலர்ந்திடுதே
வாடும் மனிதர் நாட்கள் மறையும்
As evening dries the fading hours,
Human days wither and disappear.

வெள்ளம் போல் எம்மை வாரி கொள்வார்
உந்தன் முகத்தின் வெளிச்சத்திலே நீர்
He carries us like a flood,
In the light of Your holy face.

எந்தன் பாவம் நிறுத்தினீரே
தேவா கோபத்தால் மாயக்கதை போல்
You have stopped my sins,
As if erasing years like a fable.

பாவ வருடங்களை கழித்தோம்
எங்கள் வாழ்நாள் எழுபது ஆன்டே
Our sinful years have passed away,
Even as our lives reach seventy years.

எண்பத்தாண்டோ பெலன் இருந்தால்
ஞான இதயம் தேவ உணர்வும்
Even if eighty years remain,
Let our hearts know Your wisdom, O God.

நாட்கள் எண்ணிட போதித்திடும்
கர்த்தரே நீர் திரும்பியே வாரும்
Teach us to count the days wisely,
Lord, as You return to guide us.

கோபம் நீங்கி பரிதபியும்
துன்பம் அடைந்த நாட்கள் பதிலாய்
Anger departs and compassion remains,
Replacing days filled with sorrow.

இன்ப மகிழ்ச்சி ஈந்திடுமே
உந்தன் கிரியை ஊழியருக்கே தான்
Joy and happiness will embrace us,
Through Your works, Lord, for Your servants.

உம் மகிமை பிள்ளைகட்கே
எங்கள் கரத்தின் நற்கிரியைகள்
Your glory shines upon Your children,
And blesses the good deeds of our hands.
