Behold, the offering for the Lord, He Himself gave
Behold the gift for the Lord

As an offering for the Lord
I will give a tithe

Christ the faithful Lord
Must govern His church

In the world, injustice must vanish
Wisdom must grow

தனியேக மெய்த்தேவனை நந்தேசத்தில்
சகலரும் போற்ற வேணும்
Alone, the true God in the sanctuary
All must praise Him

கனிவாய்ப் போதகர் வேதம்
கற்றறிந்து சொல்லவேணும்
The gracious teacher of Scripture
Must teach what is learned

கணக்காய் இதன் செலவு
கட்டி வரவேணும் அய்யா
The cost must be calculated
And presented, O Lord

அனைத்திலும் தந்ததையே
Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek
And gave all that he had

I read with great delight in Israel’s Bethel
The proper deeds for the ruler

ஆண்டவர் பரன் அவர்கட்
கனைத்தும் ஆசீர்வதித்துத்
The Lord blessed all of them
And gave abundantly

தாபரம் மதடி கீழ்த்
தந்தளித்த தெல்லாங் கேட்டேன்
I sought the offerings given at the altar
And counted them

கொஞ்சங் கொஞ்சமாகச் சேர்த்தேன் இதோ இத்தனை
கூடினதைக் கொண்டிதோ வந்தேன்
Little by little I gathered this much
And brought all together

நஞ்சைவிளைவினி லோர்பாகம் சேர்த்து வைத்தேனான்
நாலாவகை வரத்திற் கொஞ்சம்
He combined the fruits of labor
And added a portion for the fourth year

புஞ்சை பல போகத்திலும்
போட்டு வைத்தே னான்குறுணி
Among many sheaves
I kept the small grains

புத்தகக் கணக்கில் கண்ட
தித்தனை தொகையுமாச்சு
And recorded in the book
The total sum was noted
